These are the only two US coins ever minted in this way, which makes these inordinately unique. If you ever opt for buying coins in bulk, be sure that some of them are of this variety.
Buying coins in bulk can be pricey, but an overall economical means of acquiring large numbers of specimens. Buying coins as an investor or as a hobbyist, doing so in bulk can be somewhat inexpensive in the long run.
A couple of the coins which first come to mind are the two Indian head coins minted in the US between 1908 and 1929. Both of these have the same design, but one is a two and one half dollar coin, and the other is a heavier, five dollar coin.

If buying coins of a more commemorative type, you can also try to find these in bulk as well. Two in particular that are heavily sought after are coins issued by the Sovereign Nation of the Shawnee tribe of Native Americans.
Both of $5.00 denominations, they each depict different Shawnee heroes. One only had 5,000 minted, and the other only 999 – so you can see that the rarity of these alone would make them exceedingly valuable indeed.
